Use this chapter to learn the NewWebsms features, sign in to the portal, manage your profile, and contact the help desk.

NewWebsms lets you send SMS messages to multiple mobile numbers. You can send text, flash, and Unicode messages to end users, friends, or employees.

Sign in to NewWebsms

You receive an email containing a link and credentials for the NewWebsms portal.

  1. Open the link in the email to view the home page.

  1. Use the navigation bar to browse the website, view product prices, register an account, or send queries.
  2. Select Client Login to open the sign-in page.

  1. Enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.
  2. Click Login to open the messaging interface.

Select a language from the Language list to change the website language. Use the links at the lower-left of the page to browse the website.

User interface

The messaging interface provides controls for managing messages.

The menu bar appears at the top of the page and contains options for managing messages. The interface banner displays the account balance, username, and a link for sending queries to the help desk.

Select Logout to sign out and return to the home page.

Change your profile

Use your profile to update your company name, registered mobile number, and contact person name.

  1. Open the User Profile menu.
  2. Select User Profile.
  3. In the User Profile section, update the Company, Contact Person, and Mobile Number fields.
  4. Enter your password in the Password field.
  5. Click Save.

You cannot change your username or email ID.

If the changes are saved, the system displays a success message. If the changes cannot be saved, the system displays a failure message. Message-related transactions in the interface use similar success and failure messages.

Change your password

Use the Change Password option to update the password associated with your profile.

  1. Open the User Profile menu.
  2. Select Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password in Old Password.
  4. Enter the new password in New Password.
  5. Re-enter the new password in Confirm New Password.
  6. Click Save.

Your password must be at least five characters long.

Recover your password

If you forget your password:

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password.

  1. In the Recover Password window, enter your username and the displayed code.
  2. Click Recover.

The system emails your password to your registered email address.

Email Help Desk

Send questions to the help desk from the main website or from the messaging interface.

Send a question from the website

  1. Select the Contact Us tab.
  2. Enter your information in the fields under Contact Us.
  3. Click SendMail.

The system sends an email about your query directly to the help desk.

Send a question from the messaging interface

  1. Select Help Desk in the interface banner.
  2. In the email client that opens, enter your question in the email body.
  3. Click Send.

The system automatically populates the To field with the help desk email address.
