Prepare and submit a compliant WhatsApp Business Platform government use case request as an authorized Solution Partner.
Use this checklist to prepare and submit a government use case request for the WhatsApp Business Platform.
Who can submit
- Only authorized Solution Partners can submit requests.
- Submit requests through the official Government Use Case Request Form in English.
- Follow the WhatsApp Business Policy on Government and Political Use.
Before you submit
- Confirm the government entity name, WhatsApp display name, and WABA ID.
- Prepare a brief description of the intended use case.
- Review jurisdiction and policy compliance.
- Confirm whether PII, electoral authority, or fact-checking conditions apply.
- Submit each request only once.
Applicant and account details

| 1. Your Name | Your first and last name. |
| 2. Solution Partner Name | Name of the authorized Solution Partner. |
| 3. WhatsApp Display Name | Official display name of the WhatsApp Business Account. |
| 4. Name of Government Entity | Full legal name of the government body. |
| 5. WABA ID | Valid WABA ID. Only one WABA ID can be submitted. For WABA creation guidance, refer here. |
Compliance and use case details
6. Jurisdiction compliance
Is the government entity based in or representing Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or Crimea?

If yes, specify the jurisdiction.
Review the WhatsApp Government and Political Use Policy before submitting a request related to a restricted jurisdiction.
7. Policy compliance confirmation
Does the entity comply with WhatsApp’s Business Messaging Policy?

8. Use case description
Provide a brief and clear description of the intended use case.
9. Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
Confirm whether the entity intends to collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in two-way messaging.

PII cannot be requested in messaging templates. Templates that request PII will be rejected.
10. Electoral authority
Is the entity an Electoral Authority?
Examples include Election Commission of India (ECI), Brazil’s Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, and IEC South Africa.

Provide any additional information you would like to include. This field is optional.
